ORGANIC RING MAKING WORKSHOP WITH GEMSTONES

~ Saturday the 31st of October 3pm-5:30pm ~

Explore the art of organic ring making with Filthyy. 
Perfect for beginners, this relaxed 2.5 hour workshop introduces you to the ancient technique of lost wax casting with gemstones. 

You'll design and handcraft your very own ring from jeweller's wax, learning the process from concept to creation. Experiment with organic forms, textures and shapes to create a piece that's uniquely yours. You'll have the opportunity to explore a selection of gemstones, experimenting with different colours and placements and learn the fundamentals of casting gemstones in place.

Once your design is complete, your wax model will be professionally cast in solid 925 sterling silver, polished with your choice of finish, and ready to collect in the weeks following the workshop. Please allow 4-5 weeks for your ring to be cast and polished. Once it's ready, you'll be notified for collection or postage can be arranged. 

Please write your preferred gemstone colours in the notes section at checkout and I will do my best to source them for you! 

Please note:
The workshop fee includes a standard-size ring. If inspiration strikes and you'd like to create a chunkier style, you're welcome to upgrade on the day for an additional fee based on the amount of silver required. Gold casting is available upon request, however please get in touch prior to booking for a quote.
If you're currently unsure how many gemstones you'd like to include in your design simply book for one gemstone and you can always upgrade on the day if you'd like to add more! 

The gemstones used in this workshop are nano or lab-grown gemstones. 

*Workshop bookings include the creation of one ring per participant only. Personal gemstones cannot be used or brought in for this class.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and over. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who must also hold a valid ticket.
